Beretta calls the 92SB Repro a tribute to the pistol that bridged the original Model 92 and the military-adopted 92F in the early 1980s. This new one carries "Celebrating 50 Years of the 90 Series" on the slide.
The design details are the draw. A polished anodized frame, a polished blued slide and barrel, a rounded trigger guard and a flat dust cover echo the original look. The pistol uses all-metal components and upgraded internals, including a short reset trigger bar and a D hammer spring. G10 grips add a textured, modern feel.
Each pistol is said to come in special collector's packaging with a history booklet about the 90 Series. Each has its own serial number. The action is semi-automatic. This is more of a collector's piece than a working duty gun, though it can certainly shoot. Handle it with care if you want to preserve the polished finish, and expect that bluing needs a wipe after handling.
The product photos will show the finish and markings. It ships to a licensed dealer you choose, where you finish the background check and take it home. A nice gift for a Beretta enthusiast, or a keepsake for yourself.
