An older Glock with a long track record, the Gen2 G22 is the pistol that many police departments carried in the 1990s and beyond. This one is chambered in .40 S&W, has a 4.49 inch barrel, and holds 15 rounds. It weighs about 1.4 pounds and is black.

Gen2 pistols lack the accessory rail of later models, so a weapon light needs a different solution. If you plan to mount a light, check that your holster and light will fit. For a plain range gun or a nightstand pistol, the lack of a rail does not matter.

The seller points to the Glock's lightweight polymer frame, its durability and its easy maintenance. Those are real strengths. The design has few parts and tolerates dirt, and it has been copied by plenty of other makers.

Older pistols have usually been carried and shot, but the Glock is built for that kind of use. At this price, it is a reasonable way to get into a duty-size .40. It is sold used and as described. It ships to your FFL dealer, and the background check is completed there.
