Optic-ready from the factory, the G22 Gen5 MOS is built for shooters who want to add a red dot. This used example is chambered in .40 S&W, has a 4.50 inch barrel and holds 15 rounds. It weighs about 1.6 pounds and is black.

The seller says the G22 Gen5 MOS is widely used by law enforcement and has a reputation for power, accuracy and dependability. Gen5 pistols have a refined barrel, no finger grooves and a flared magwell that helps with reloads. Those changes appeal to many shooters. Run the slide by hand when it arrives and make sure it moves cleanly from end to end.

The MOS cut in the slide takes optic plates, so a red dot goes on with a plate and a few screws. The pistol makes a good self-defense sidearm and a solid range gun.

The .40 S&W has more recoil than 9mm, but the heavier bullet suits some buyers. Parts and holsters are easy to find. Check the photos for wear. It is sold used and as described. It ships to your FFL dealer, and the background check is completed there.
