Gen3 Glocks have an accessory rail and a grip many shooters know well. This G22 is chambered in .40 S&W with a 4.50 inch barrel, a 15-round capacity and a black finish.

The G22 is widely used by law enforcement and has a reputation for power, accuracy and dependability. The seller calls it an excellent self-defense sidearm. I would add that it is also a good pistol for learning, since the controls are simple and the manual of arms is easy to teach. Buy ammunition in the quantity you will shoot in one session, and store the rest somewhere cool and dry.

The .40 S&W has a snap that .45 and 9mm users notice. If you are a new shooter, try it at the range before you decide. If you like it, the cartridge delivers a lot of energy from a service-size pistol, and ammunition is easy to find.

The rail on the Gen3 frame lets you mount a light, which is an advantage for a home defense gun. Look at the photos to judge the wear. It is sold used and as described. It ships to your FFL dealer, and the background check is completed there.
