Compare this one with other G17 trade-ins and you will see the appeal. It is a black Glock 17 in 9mm Luger with a 4.49 inch barrel, a 17-round capacity, Ameriglo night sights and two magazines. It came from a police department.

Night sights are a real upgrade over standard plastic sights, since you can find the front post in dim light. Buying them separately and installing them can run to a good chunk of money. On a trade-in, they are often part of the package.

The G17 is a simple, rugged pistol with few parts. It runs a wide variety of ammunition and is easy to clean. If you carry or keep it at home, you can find replacement parts and holsters in every gun shop. The striker-fired trigger has a short, consistent pull.

Police pistols show wear from holsters, and some have department markings. Check the photos to see what this one looks like. It is a practical pick for a first pistol or a second one. It is sold used and as described. It ships to your FFL dealer, and the background check is completed there.
