Sometimes a trade-in is a pistol that never got to work. This Glock 17 Gen4 is a police trade-in listed as unfired, in black, chambered in 9mm Luger with a 4.49 inch barrel and a 17-round magazine.

That listing makes the pistol attractive to a buyer who wants duty-grade quality without a lot of wear. Glock designed the G17 as a service pistol, and the Gen4 version offers a reversible magazine release and a modular backstrap system. It keeps the simple design that has made Glock a favorite among agencies. Eye and ear protection cost little compared with the range days they make possible.

An unfired pistol is still sold as used, because it was owned before, so look it over when it arrives.

An unfired G17 is a good base for a build. You can change the sights, the trigger parts and the barrel, and the aftermarket has plenty of choices. Or you can leave it alone and shoot it as it is. It is sold used and as described. It ships to your FFL dealer, and the background check is completed there.
