Full-size grip, compact slide: that is the Glock 45 in a sentence. That is a combination plenty of shooters like, because the long grip gives you a firm hold and the shorter barrel, at 4.02 inches, is easier to carry. This one is a Gen5 police trade-in with a 17-round magazine and night sights.

Gen5 pistols have a few changes from earlier versions. The finish is tougher, the barrel has a different rifling pattern, and the controls are cleaned up. There is no finger groove on the grip, so it fits a wider range of hands. These small updates add up to a pistol that feels refined.

Night sights are a real help in low light. Take time to learn the sight picture and check how the pistol shoots with them. Law enforcement trade-ins are a fair way to get a Gen5 at a lower price. They often show holster wear but little round count.

When you receive it, run the usual checks. Look over the sights, the slide, and the barrel. Seat the magazine and test the lockback. A short range session will tell you everything you need to know. It is sold as described, in used condition. The pistol ships to your local FFL dealer, where the background check is completed.
