Some pistols are made to be shot, and some are made to be admired. This engraved P226 does both. The stainless finish carries engraving, and the wood grips add warmth that polymer grips cannot match.

It is chambered in 9mm Luger and holds 15 rounds. The P226 is a full-size, hammer-fired pistol known for its accuracy and smooth action, so you are not buying a safe queen. It will shoot as well as any other P226. Plenty of shooters keep a range log, and a pistol that is new to you is a good reason to start one. Read the manual before the first range trip, since controls differ even between pistols that look alike.

A stainless slide and frame resist rust, which is helpful if you plan to carry or shoot often. For a collection, the engraving makes it a conversation piece. Show it off at the range, and expect the other shooters to ask about it.

Handle engraved guns with a clean cloth and a light coat of oil to keep the finish bright. The pistol is new. It ships to your FFL dealer, where you complete the background check before you take it home.
