At the top of the XFive line, the Extreme is the version for shooters who want a tuned single-action pistol and a big magazine. This one is chambered in 9mm Luger, has a 5 inch barrel, a Nitron finish and a 20+1 capacity. It is new.

Single-action only means every shot breaks short and light, and the hammer stays cocked between shots. It gives you a consistent trigger press, which is the point of a competition pistol. If you have not used one before, learn the safety carefully and practice at a range before you rely on it.

The long slide gives a generous sight radius, and the steel frame adds weight that settles the pistol quickly after each shot. Nitron is SIG's black finish, and it resists corrosion and wear. Twenty rounds in the magazine allows long strings of fire without a reload. If your state restricts capacity, check the rules before you buy.

This is priced as a premium pistol, so it suits a shooter who values a refined trigger and tight fit. It is a range gun first, though it can also serve as a home defense pistol if you accept its size. The pistol ships to a licensed dealer you choose, where you complete the background check and take delivery.
