Sold without the packaging but not without a story, this SIG P229 M11-A1 is a compact pistol with a military pedigree. The M11-A1 is the model name used for a P229 variant, and it carries the black finish that suits the role.

The seller describes the pistol as preowned, with signs of normal wear and use but great overall cosmetic condition and perfect working order. Check that every magazine seats with a firm click and drops free when you press the release. Wipe it down, put a drop of oil on the rails, and it should give you years of steady service. Eye and ear protection cost little compared with the range days they make possible.

The P229 is a double-action, single-action pistol that has been popular with federal agents. Its size makes it comfortable to carry, and the weight makes it manageable to shoot. Plenty of owners use it as a dual-purpose gun for carry and for home defense.

Check the photos carefully, as the seller suggests, and ask if you have questions. The pistol is sold used and as described. It ships to your FFL dealer, where the background check is completed.
